22 Students, 7 Countries, 1 Mission

The Global Leadership Program 2026 began this October with a diverse cohort of 22 students from seven countries—young leaders united by a shared desire to defend human dignity and contribute to the renewal of society. From the very first sessions, it has been clear that this group brings not only talent, but conviction, generosity, and an eagerness to engage deeply with the great challenges of our time.

Over the past weeks, our students have embarked on an intellectual and personal journey through some of the most urgent topics shaping global culture today: the roots of the philosophical and anthropological crisis, the rise of individualism and the resulting fractures in society, the influence of supranational organizations on national policies, cultural colonization and agenda-setting, and the evolution of contemporary feminist movements. Each theme has revealed the depth of the cultural battle we face—and the importance of forming leaders capable of responding with clarity, courage, and charity.

Admission into the program was highly competitive. Every student accepted demonstrated not only academic excellence, but also a sincere commitment to the defense of human dignity, the family, and integral human development. This commitment has been evident in their active participation, their thoughtful questions, and the seriousness with which they prepare for the upcoming Commission on the Status of Women at the United Nations.

Our professors have crafted each session to foster reflection while also providing practical tools for effective engagement in international forums. As Rodrigo Iván Cortés reminded us, “There is no better time to be what we are, because greatness grows in proportion to the challenge.” He also offered the students a roadmap for the cultural mission ahead—the three FC:

  • Formar Criterio (to form sound judgment) — grounding one’s worldview in classical and divine wisdom;
  • Forjar Carácter (to forge character) — developing courage, firmness, and moral integrity;
  • Frutos Coherentes (to bear coherent fruits) — uniting mind, heart, and action in a coherent life that speaks louder than words.

This unity of intellect, virtue, and action is precisely what today’s world needs—and what we strive to cultivate in each participant.

We are almost halfway through the program. Much work lies ahead, many discussions yet to come, and more tools to sharpen. But there is a growing sense among the group: that they are being prepared not merely to attend the CSW, but to step into the world as authentic agents of change—young leaders capable of defending the truth with competence, depth, and hope.

The journey continues, and with it, the promise of what these students will bring into the world.
